Detailed Biography

David Blumenthal has more than thirty years of experience as a founder, builder, mentor and entrepreneur with a strong history of successful, measurable, results-oriented leadership in consulting, healthtech and digital business. He has a track record of building profitable growth organizations by crafting strategy and executing operational plans while designing consultative sales and business building approaches.

Today, he serves as Vice President of Strategic Client Development and Client Success for Zelis, a leading healthtech company, that delivers cost transparency solutions to health plans. In this role, he has been honored with the prestigious CEO Award as a “creator of success” where he was recognized for “outstanding business results, advocacy for his client and his pursuit of the deal, and his ability to manage issues that need to be carefully finessed.”

Prior to his current role, David served as Chief Operating Officer for a publicly-traded reseller of wireless services. He also co-founded and served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Flash Creative Management, a business technology company focused on assisting companies to identify their strategic objectives and tactical plans and build the processes and technologies to support them. This company was recognized by Inc. Magazine, Deloitte Touche and Ernst and Young for its achievements.

His educational background includes a Masters of Business Administration from New York University with a concentration on Organizational Development and Personnel Training and Management as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications from New York University.
