Junior Data Engineer (8 positions open)

We have 8 positions open for Junior Data Engineers. The salary will be $70,000 to start. Overview of the Program/Role: Our client is seeking talented and enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Junior Data Engineers in Houston, TX. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with a background in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, accompanied by basic Python skills and a foundational understanding of database development. As a Junior Data Engineer, you will have the chance to work on real-world projects, enhance your Python programming abilities, and gain valuable experience in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.

This position and program will require the candidate to be on-site at our client's office in downtown Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:

Attend lectures covering essential concepts in data engineering, database development, and relevant technologies.

Collaborate on projects, gaining practical experience and applying learned concepts to solve data-related challenges.

Participate in personalized 1:1 mentoring and coaching sessions to address individual learning needs and facilitate skill development.

Participate in specialized training programs aimed at enhancing skills and knowledge for career growth within the organization.

Utilize Python programming skills to manipulate, analyze, and visualize data.

Assist in the design and implementation of database solutions.

Participate in troubleshooting and debugging data-related issues.

Contribute to the development of data models and algorithms.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field, May or December 2023 graduates encourages to apply

Basic proficiency in Python programming language. Familiarity with fundamental concepts of database development.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
